·85 No’s WAP7 & 09 No’s WAP5 locomotivesof ELS/HWH based are HOG enabled and these are being used in HOG compliant LHB rake resulting saving of Diesel oil and pollution free environment.
·RTIS(Real-time Train Information System) has been commissioned in108 HWHbased Electric locomotives (47 nos. WAP7, 43 nos. WAP4 & 18 nos. WAP5). RTIS is being used for automatic captureoftrainrunninginformation&automaticplottingofcontrolchartsinCOA.
·64 no’s. WAP7 & 11 no’s WAP5 locomotivesof ELS/HWH based have been equipped with AC cabfor comfort & stress free working of runningstaff.
