Electrical General Services wing of Kanchrapara Workshop is looking after power and water supply to the workshop and colonies, electrical M & P maintenance in shops, The following shops are under administrative control of Dy.CEE (G). Shop-31 is located in Carriage Complex whereas Shop-12 & Shop-35 are located in Loco Complex along with Old Filter House and New Filter House and various Colony substation and Riverside Pump House at Halisahar.
Power supply of Kanchrapara Complex is fed by WBSEDCL through three supply feeders namely (a) Dharampur source, (b) Baroda Bridge source & (c) Halisahar Riverside source from Hazinagar Jute Mill.
