ADDITIONAL 80 BERTHS TO BE GENERATED IN EACH TRIP BY AUGMENTING  AIR-CONDITIONED COACH IN TWO (02)  POPULAR EXPRESS TRAINS

Kolkata, March 17, 2025:

The augmentation of additional coaches in popular Express trains is an o­ngoing initiative aimed at improving overall travel experience for passengers. Accordingly, in response to the overwhelming demand for tickets, Railway has decided to augment additional Air-conditioned coach in following Express trains o­n temporary basis:   

One additional AC-3 tier coach will be augmented with 12236/12235 Anand Vihar – Madhupur –Anand Vihar Humsafar Express leaving Anand Vihar from 20.03.2025 to 18.09.2025 & leaving Madhupur from 21.03.2025 to 19.09.2025. Additional 80 berths will be generated in each trip. The train will run with 21 coaches instead of 20 coaches.

One additional AC-3 tier coach will be augmented with 22460/22459 Anand Vihar – Madhupur –Anand Vihar Baba Baidyanath Dham Deoghar Humsafar Express leaving Anand Vihar from 17.03.2025 to 15.09.2025 & leaving Madhupur from 18.03.2025 to 16.09.2025. Additional 80 berths will be generated in each trip. The train will run with 21 coaches instead of 20 coaches.
