Job Profile: All the activities of Personnel Department are supervised by Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer who is assisted by a Divisional Personnel Officer, four Assistant Personnel Officers and a Law Officer. The personnel department of Asansol Division deals with appointment from various sources, establishment and Pay Bill work of staff of all departments. Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer is solely responsible for maintaining Industrial Relations with the recognized unions and Associations. All the welfare activities are also monitored by Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer. He personally monitors all the grievances received directly from the complainant or through online portal or referred by Head Quarter/Board/Member of Parliaments/Members of Legislative Assembly.
