Train with Foreign Country: The Maitree Express and Bandhan Express are two international passenger trains connecting with Bangladesh Railway. Four Up Maitree Express are being originated in a week from Kolkata Terminal on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday similarly four Down trains are being received from BanglaDesh on Sunday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Bandhan Express is being originated from KOAA on Thursday as weekly and runs to Khulna (BanglaDesh) via BNJ and down direction on same day.
Average 121 numbers of Freight wagons are interchanged daily wise in average via Gede and Petrapole interchanging points with for thje f/y 2019-20 with BanglaDesh Railway.
The major commodities loaded from this division are Container, Gunny Bales, Coal and Fertilizer. Gunny Bales are loaded from Titagarh and Naihati, Containers are loaded from CTKR, KP Dock and CEDC whereas Coal and Fertilizers are loaded from KP Dock.
The major commodities of Inward loaded received by this division are Cement, Fertilizer, Food Grain, Container, POL and Coal for thermal power plant. The Division also has 15 Goods Sheds and 15 Industrial Sidings by which average interchange of this division is 28.21 rakes per day.
Status of IT Project:-
Goods related IT project RMS (Rake Management System) and TMS (Terminal Management System) under FOIS are functional at four and sixteen terminals respectively including proxy control, whereas Coaching related IT project ICMS (Integrated Coaching Management System) is functional at four terminals from where VG (Vehicle Guidance) is being generated for all originating Mail/Express as well as Passengers trains.
Crew related IT project CMS (Crew Management System) is functional over all of six Crew Booking Lobbies (SDAH Main & North, KOAA, DDJ, CP, NH & RHA) of this division but at present CP CMS lobby has been shifted and merged with DDJ CMS lobby and another project COA (Control Office Application) is also functional at all of five Control Boards of this division and it has already been integrated with ICMS and FOIS also.
SM related IT project online TSR has been implemented at five stations namely BLN, NACC, NH, KYI & CSZ in this division.
