Achievements in FY 22-23 up to Feb’23

·Departmental Modifications:
RA/OMS modification of Power cars: 3 nos. Power cars departmentally. [RDSO/PE/SPEC/0184-2015 (Rev.0)]

·Replacement of MCB by MPCB and interlocking of Ventilation motor & Heater contactor in SBC of LHB AC coach: 9 coaches departmentally.[RDSO/PE/MS/AC/0085-2022 (Rev.0)]

·AC to DC Supply modification of Multifunction meter of Power car: 20 nos. Power cars departmentally. [Due to frequent passing through OHE neutral zone, 230V AC voltage fluctuation/ surge occurs which affect multi-function meter and fault detected in power supply section; hence 110V DC supply (as per meter spec) is adapted/fed to ensure reliability of the meter

·PCC card circuit modification in Power cars: 6 nos. Power cars departmentally. [Supply at PCC card is required at the time of EOG operation. After HOG modification PCC 3.3 base card still gets 3 phase 415 volt at J22 Port. During Hotel Load Converter switching and passing through neutral section of OHE, a high voltage spike (transient) may damage the controller. Considering its high cost (2.1 Lakh), power supply of PCC card is being isolated through RSW for safety & reliability.]

·Relocation of RCBO of mobile charging circuit from under gear HV panel to on board LV panel of LHB TL coaches:  53 nos. TL coaches departmentally.[RDSO/PE/MS/TL/0083-2021 (Rev. 0)]

·HSD Oil Consumption

After taking  several measures HSD Oil consumption reduced drastically in both coaching depot (SDAH & Chitpur). Measures are mandatory maintenance by CSS, reduction in HOG Failure
