vSpecial work done:
All 06 nos. of wheel sets changed of Loco no-31407:- This type of work has been done first time in BWN DSL shed. Wheel sets are collected from KPA workshop & then all the 06 nos. of wheel set changed by the under carriage staffs.
ØPINION MOUNTING & EXTRACTING TEST BENCH :-
Hydraulic system for pinion mounting and extorting tools for three phase motor of WAG-9 loco.
Motor type-6FRA6068.

Establishment of Pantograph test bench:-
01 nos pantograph ( conventional & High rise ) TF measuring stand has established beside 04 nos ASN end beneath the EOT crane. Transverse flexibility measuring PT stand supplied by DIC Enterprises -BHOPAL on 02.05.22 & made ready to use on 06.05.22.
ØForeign loco attention at BWN DSL SHED for the month of May-2022:-

7) 32564/ROU. 07 nos. of Foreign loco attended the Burdwan Diesel shed during this month.
ØSTAFF GRIEVANCE CAMP
A staff grievance camp held on 18.05.22 at BWN DSL SHED premises by APO/G/HWH, COS/ESTT, & Welfare Inspector. There was more than 20 long pending grievances of staff which was sorted out at this end during this camp.

vILLUMINATION OF SHED AREA:
For emphasizing safety aspect in working area, Howrah Diesel Shed has been taken a remarkable initiative for illumination of Shed Premises. A considerable number of 100 Watt LED light sets have been installed in different area of shed premises to make the shed floor brightest.
The aforesaid activities have been initiated to prevent accident for shortage of light.
