I)    Ultrasonic Testing of various types of axles of WAG9, WAG7, WAG5 (HITACHI, TAO AND TAO-CHI), WAP4, Tower Car Axles, EMU Motor Coach and Trailer Coach Axles, ICF Axles, BOXN Axles, HCC Trailer coach Axles and Armature Shafts of make: HELL and FUJI (CROMPTON AND BHEL), WAG5, WM4B,

II)  Dye Penetrant Testing and Magnetic Particles Testing of POH/IOH components.

III)    Chemical Analysis of Plain Carbon Steel.

IV)    Rubber Testing ( Swelling, Hardness and Ageing Test)

V)     Hardness Testing (Rockwell) of ferrous components.

VI)  Testing of Transformer oil (visual appearance, water contamination and acidity).

VII)   Bosh Tank Water Testing (visual appearance, alkalinity)

VIII)  Preliminary Failure Investigation of in-service failed components.

IX)    Welder’s Certification as per IS-7310.

X)     Gas Chromatography (DGA) of Transformer Oil.

XI)   Maintain the laboratory for general requirement for the competence of testing as per ISO/IEC: 17025:2017 under accredited scope of Non-Destructive Testing viz, Dye Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particles Testing and Ultrasonic Testing. This laboratory bears certificate number TC-8851 valid up to 19/02/2022.
