Job Profile:Shri Ajai Kumar Dubey has taken over the charge of Principal Chief Materials Manager, Eastern Railway on 30.04.2020. Shri Dubey is an IRSS Officer of 1985 batch. He is an alumnus of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. He possesses strong technical background and has expertise in various field of working over Indian Railways.
Shri Dubey formerly PCMM, Metro Railway, Kolkata was also the Divisional Railway Manager, Solapur, Central Railway, Chief Materials Manager at NR, NCR, NER and ECR and Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Lucknow.
Apart from attending different training programmes in various Railway Institutes, he attended DRMs training in Milan, Italy and HAG training in Pittsburg, USA.
PCMM is the Principal Officer and Administrative head of Stores Branch including the various Stores Depots. He is responsible to the General Manager for the procurement, stocking and distribution of all stores and materials required by all the branches of Eastern Railway and also for the disposal of all unserviceable, obsolete and scrap stores. He controls the Stores branch budget and exercises such powers as are specifically delegated to him. The Printing Press of Eastern Railway is also under his charge. He is assisted by five Senior Administrative Grade Officers.
