1.0GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1Currently the Operating Department, Malda Division is headed by Sr. Divisional Operations Manager and assisted by Two Asstt. Operations Managers.

1.1Malda Town, New Farakka, Sahibganj, Bhagalpur and Jamalpur are five major stations of Malda Divisionbeing supervised by Station Superintendent. Other medium and smaller stations are being looked after by the Sectional Traffic Inspectors, as detailedbelow:
Eight Sectional TIs are stationed two each at New Farakka, Bhagalpur, Jamalpur one at Sahibganj and one at Godda In addition to above for assisting in day to day work of operations in the division following TIs are based at Malda TI/ PLG, TI/TP, TI/SWR, TI/IT, TI/CNL, TI/HQ, TI/Chaser-I & TI/Chaser-II.
At Malda Town, Bhagalpur and Jamalpur Yards are functioning under supervision of CYMs posted thereon.

2.0Some importantachievementof 2021-22
Goods Loading
Up toJune 2021 Total revenue loading was 3.980 MT against 3.152 MT of corresponding period of last year an improvement of 26.27% more than the last year loading, and 1.27% ahead of the target.
Goods Earnings
Upto June 2021 the total Goods earning of the division is ` 162.72 croresas compared to ` 237.20 crores during the same period of last year.
Punctuality of Mail Passenger & All BG Trains
Upto June 2021, we achieved Mail Express Trains of 92.99, as compared to 90.91 in same month of last year.
Upto June 2021, we achieved Passenger Trains of 85.82, as compared to 00.00 in same month of last year.
Upto June 2021, we achieved All BG Trains of 88.91, as compared to 90.09 in same month of last year.
Wagon Interchange
UptoJune 2021 avg. perday interchange is 6052 EWU against 4210 EWU. month of the last year i.e. an improvement of 43.75 % in comparison to same period of last year.
Performance of Inward Release
Up to June 2021 average per day inward release was 863 EWU against 600 EWU correspondingmonth of last year.
Performance of Wagon Holding
Up to June 2021 average Wagon Holding per day was 3631 EWU/Day against 4198 EWU /Day correspondingmonth of last.
Electric Utilisation
Up to June 2021 average Electric Utilisation per day was 423 Av./Km against 298 Av./Km correspondingmonth of last year.
Diesel Utilisation
Up to June 2021 average Diesel Utilisation per day n was 411 Av./Km against 307 Av./Km correspondingmonth of last year.
Wagon Turn-Round
Upto June 2021 Wagon Turn-Round of Malda division is maintained at the level of 1.2
