1.1 1.1Malda Town, New Farakka, Sahibganj, Bhagalpur and Jamalpur are five major stations of Malda Divisionbeing supervised by Station Superintendent. Other medium and smaller stations are being looked after by the Sectional Traffic Inspectors, as detailedbelow:

Nine Sectional TIs are stationed one at MLDT one at New Farakka, one at JRLE, one at Sahibganj, three at Bhagalpur, One at Godda, One at Jamalpur,In addition to above for assisting in day to day work of operations in the division following TIs are based at Malda

TI/TP(I), TI/TP(II), TI/SWR, TI/PLG, TI/HQ, TI/Safety, TI/Caution, TI/Chaser(I), TI/Chaser(II) & TI/TC. Except these TI/ Chaser is posted at SBG and JMP.

At Malda Town, Bhagalpur and Jamalpur Yards are functioning under supervision of CYMs posted thereon.

Goods Loading

Up to May 2024, the total revenue loading was 2.945 MT as compared to 1.927 MT during the corresponding period of last year i.e. an improvement of 52.83% in comparison to same period of last year.

Goods Earnings

Up to May 2024, the total Goods earning of the division was ` 198.80 crores against `126.33 crores of corresponding periodof last year i.e. an improvement of 57.37 % in comparison to same period of last year.

Punctuality of Mail Passenger & All BG Trains

Upto May 2024, we achieved Mail Express Trains of 93.16, as compared to 95.59 in same month of last year.

Upto May 2024, we achieved Passenger     Trains of 68.67, as compared to 91.96 in same month of last year.

Wagon Interchange

UptoMay 2024 avg. perday interchange is 7910 EWU against 7443 EWU. month of the last year i.e. an improvement of 6.27 % in comparison to same period of last year.

Performance of Inward Release

Up to May 2024 average per day inward release was 1329 EWU against 1110 EWU correspondingmonth of last year.

Performance of Wagon Holding

Up to May 2024 average Wagon Holding per day was 4427 EWU/Day against 3987 EWU /Day correspondingmonth of last.

Electric Utilisation

Up to May 2024 average Electric Utilisation per day was 261 Av./Km against 286 Av./Km correspondingmonth of last year.

Diesel Utilisation

Up to May 2024 average Diesel Utilisation per day n was 266 Av./Km against 271 Av./Km correspondingmonth of last year.
