19.Installation of one submersible pump of capacity 10000 gph at 180 feet head, 15HP,’KSB’make in newly constructed boring of size 8''x12'' at Narkeldanga Railway colony. 

20.Installation of submersible pump of capacity 5000 GPH x 150 ft. head complete with Motor of cap. 7.5 HP in newly sunk deep tube well of size 150mmx 200 mm at Jadavpur and 47m x 6 CMH at total head of 25m, HP - 1.0 in newly sunk deep tube well of size 50mm x 100mm Kalikapur Railway Station. 

21.Total 520 nos unauthorized tapping removed as a measure of energy conservation.

22.Replacement of 108 ( one hundred eightnos) nos heavy duty high wattage ceiling fans by light weight low wattage ceiling fans.

23.Twenty one nos. Conventional energy meter have been replaced with Digital type energy meter as a measure of energy conservation.

Achievements during 2020-21(up to July’2020)

ØInstallation and commissioning of two nos elevator of capacity 10 passengers, G+3, ‘’Johnson’’ make for Crew/Guards near South Booking office at Sealdah Railway station.

ØElectrification of newly constructed Booking office with the supply of Local and traction power and provision of twenty eightnos 20 watt LED fitting, five nos 1200 mm ‘USHA’ make ceiling fan and fivenos 400 mm ‘CG’ make wall bracket fan at Mallickpur Railway Station.

ØProvision of6 nos star rated AC machines in place of conventional AC machine.

ØElectrification of newly constructed Booking office with the supply of Local andprovision of twenty four nos 18 watt LED indoor fitting, fivenos outdoor 25W LED outdoor fitting at HabibpurRailway Station.

ØElectrification of newly constructed Booking office with the supply of Local and traction power and provision of twenty threenos 20 watt LED fitting, five nos 1200 mm ‘USHA’ make ceiling fan and fournos 400 mm ‘CG’ make wall bracket fan at Jaynagar MajilpurRailway Station. 

ØAir conditioning of B.C Roy Auditorium at SDAH.Stage lighting, façade lighting and general lighting done at B.C Roy Auditorium at SDAH.

ØInstallation and commissioning of AC in Running room ofNamkhana, Canning, Shantipur,Krishnanagar, Naihati Railway Station.

ØProvision of six nos HVLS fan at SDAH station.

ØProvision of nine nos RDSO panel in different LC gates for better reliability of power supply.

ØInstallation and commissioning of Centralised AC in Nephrology ward in BRSH of 24 HP withHEPA filter and all new wiring and fittings including Fan and Light within a month time and handed over on 15 July.

ØInstallation and commissioning of Centralised AC in ICU/S in BRSH now Covid -19 ward of 32 HP with with the facility of HEPA filter, UV filter, fresh air provision and all new wiring and fittings including Fan and Light within record time of 10 days. Installation and commissioning of Solar water Heater in BRSH in metro building of 3500lts/hrs capacity Which will cater the load of entire building and kitchen.

ØElectrification of renovated Staff canteen (Santusthi) with the followingamenities at Old Koilaghat Building.

            ØDISCOM authority energy meter shifted from old Booking office to New Booking oat Subhasgram and Mallickpur

Achievement during 2019-2020

·ZERO non AC case en-route during 2019-20 (up to Mar’20).

·HOG CONVERSION OF TRAINS

Presently all LHB trains overhauled by Electric LOCO are running in HOG mode. 11 nos. LHB EOG trains (8 rakes) has been converted to HOG trains.

·PUSH PULL MODIFICATION

First successful trial run in Push Pull mode (with existing control cable of S&T dept) of Rajdhani rake from SDAH to RHA has been carried out on 02.08.19.


Push pull modification of Rajdhani Rakes

In first phase, vide contractual agreement through LOA no. ELEG/OT/742R/2019-20, Dt. 25.10.19, M/s Contact Consotium has modified of 49nos. coaches & Power cars to run 2 nos. Rajdhani rakes in Push Pull mode.

- 1736 nos. AC and 1130 non AC coaches were in service to clear extra rush. (including SPL trains, temporary augmentation & extra coach attachment.

- 14 Nos AC coaches and 21 nos TL coaches have been augmented on permanent basis with primary trains of SDAH & CP depot.


Achievements (April’2020 to July’2020)

·Both rakes of Padatik Express have been converted to HOG compliant and running in HOG mode since 07.06.2020.

·HOG modification of all LHB power cars and Coaches has been completed. Conversion of ICF Power cars of Garib Rath has been started.

·Service of 02021/02 SDAH – BBS Covid special has been started with single Power car and one LSLRD from 14.08.2020.
