Jamalpur Workshop was established on 8th February, 1862 as Locomotive Workshop of East India Railway. It completed its Glorious 150 yrs in 2012. The range of products delivered & services rendered by Jamalpur Workshop is among the broadest at Indian Railways.

Rolling Stock POH - Diesel Locomotive, BG Wagon, 140T Crane, 20T Crane, 4W-Tower Cars
Rolling Stock Manufacturing - Assembly of Diesel Locomotives, BG Wagon (BLCS, BOXNHL, BVZC), 140T Crane
Other Manufacturing Activities - Jamalpur Jacks
Other Repair Activities - Loco & Wagon Wheels, CTRB OVH
