Chief Workshop Manager / Liluah is administrative head of Liluah Workshop, Eastern Railway is responsible for:
Periodic overhauling of Coaches of Zonal Indian Railways with highest outturn/month throughout the year. Intermediate Overhauling of Coaches as per schedule, Modification of Coaches, Up gradation of Passenger Amenities etc.
Periodic overhauling of Wagons of Zonal Railways including Private Railways. Overhauling of off POH Equipments of Rolling Stock in manufacturing Shops, up keep of M & P in the Workshop, Modernisation work of Workshop as per allocation.
Welfare activities of Employees, 100% implementation of web based module of UMID, HRMS, IPAS, iMMIS etc. Implementation of Biometric attendance for digital initiation.
Upkeep of Workshop premises with new initiation like Ladies Toilet, Water ATM for Employees, Railway Quarters including basic requirement of Roads, drainage system and Water inside the Railway Colony , Liluah Railway Hospital, Awareness Program of welfare of Employees.
The major thrust area to implement a Cost reduction curriculum in maintenance of Rolling Stocks with utmost Quality and Quantity maintaining a high quality safety and passenger amenities. The effective administration of CWM/LLH throughout the year has enabled Liluah Workshop to get the certification of ISO 9001:2015,ISO 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2017.
