Howrah -711204. | | | Job Profile: | The Chief Workshop Managers are overall responsible for all repairing, overhauling, restructuring, refabricating of all the passenger coaches and goods wagons - both mechanical and electrical - routine, periodical and emergency. Maintenance and overhauling of both Diesel and Electric Locomotive Engines and their reconditioning within the prescribed time limit are meticulously done by the CWMs of Jamalpur and Kanchrapara respectively. Need oriented equipments and accessories for daily maintenance and operation of Railway are manufactured by the CWMs of Workshops. The efforts of CWMs have helped this Railway to achieve the distinction of ISO 9000/9002 for the workshops. |
