TRAFFIC & POWER BLOCK IN AZIMGANJ – KATWA SECTION OVER HOWRAH DIVISION

Kolkata, June 27, 2024:

Track maintenance is of utmost importance in Railways. Regular track maintenance helps prevent disruption & delays, reduces the need for major repairs and replacement, ensuring trains run o­n schedule and providing a dependable transportation service to the public. Accordingly, 04 hours (15:15 hrs -19:15 hrs) Traffic & Power Block have been planned for track maintenance work o­n Down line between Khagraghat Road and Karna Subarna station in Azimganj – Katwa section from 29.06.2024 (Saturday) to 17.07.2024 (Wednesday) intermittently, consequently, following trains will remain cancelled as under: -

Cancellation of trains o­n 29.06.2024, 03.07.2024, 06.07.2024, 10.07.2024, 13.07.2024, 17.07.2024.

From Azimganj: - 03090, 03076
From Katwa: -     03089, 03075

It should be noted that the last train before the block will be 13178 and first train after the Block will be 13432.  02 pairs of EMU locals out of 30 pairs will remain cancelled o­n Katwa - Azimganj section during the Block.
The Block is absolutely essential from the safety point of view. Inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.
