•More Employment Generation increased earning opportunities

As a part of Central Government's relentless endeavour to generate more and more employment in a mission mode, Shri Narendra Modi, Hon'ble Prime Minister launched the 10th tranche of Rozgar Mela, 'The Historic Recruitment Drive' for 51,000 newly recruited appointees across the country via video conferencing today (28.10.2023). on this occasion the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also addressed the newly inducted recruits.
At Kolkata, Rozgar Mela was organized by Eastern Railway at Dr. B. C. Roy Auditorium, Sealdah wherein Shri Nityanand Rai, Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Govt. of India, Shri Sumit Sarkar, Additional General Manager, Smt. Zarina Firdausi, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Shri Deepak Nigam, Divisional Railway Manager, Sealdah and other senior officers from various Central Government Departments were graced the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Nityanand Rai, Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs said that providing jobs to the youth of this country is the utmost priority. Hon’ble Minister informed that under the able guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, about 6,30,000 jobs were provided till this 10th Rojgar Mela.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sumit Sarkar, Additional General Manager, Eastern Railway congratulated all the new recruits and extended best wishes to them. Shri Sarkar/AGM also said that Ministry of Railways, being the largest employer within the Central Government has contributed to this noble cause of generating employment. In this 10th edition of Rozgar Mela, 3624 candidates of Eastern Railway are being offered appointment and other joining processes. Shri Sumit Sarkar, AGM also expressed his happiness as other Ministries such as Ministry of Defence, FCI, P&T, GSI, AIIMS, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Education participated in this Rojgar Mela.
Appointment letters were physically handed over by Shri Nityanand Rai, Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs to the new appointees in different departments in Central Government. on this occasion, 214 new appointees participated out of which, 25 new appointees were handed over the appointment letters physically by the dignitaries.
Candidates those who got the appointment letters expressed their gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji for organizing the Rozgar mela and offering the appointment letters to the deserving candidates. The candidates are very enthusiastically taking selfies at the selfie points installed at the B. C. Roy Auditorium. The new recruits also expressed that only by means of hard work and pure merit they achieved the success in getting the central government jobs.
