Kolkata, September 27, 2023:
Shri Amar Prakash Dwivedi, General Manager, Eastern Railway inspected over Asansol Division to check conditions of safety gears, fixed assets, improvement possibility and progress of work towards re-development of different stations covered under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme , on 27.09.2023.
Shri Dwivedi General Manager was accompanied by Shri Ashok Maheshwari, Principal Chief Signal & Telecommunication Engineer, Shri Arun Kumar Chaudhary, Principal Chief Engineer, Shri Soumitra Majumdar, Principal Chief Commercial Manager, Shri Ramdhan Meena, Principal Chief Operations Manager, Eastern Railway and Shri Chetna Nand Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Asansol.
In morning Shri Amar Prakash Dwivedi General Manager, Eastern Railway conducted window trailing inspection between Jhajha – Jasidih section to see the condition of track and its surrounding, installations like signals, Over Head Equipment (OHE) etc.
During the Inspection, important parameters like cleanliness and overall condition of stations falling en- route, riding quality of the train-especially on points and crossings, improvement in track geometry Index (TGT) condition of level crossing gates en-route etc. were observed by the Shri Dwivedi. He later reviewed the progress of work under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at Jasidih, Deoghar and Basukinath station by road.
Later, Shri Dwivedi, also inspected Madhupur station and opened one station one Product (OSOP) stall. He interacted with the staff and officers and gave his valuable guidance regarding redevelopment under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme while window trailing inspection between Jasidih and Madhupur section. He further proceeded and thoroughly inspected the condition of Railway track, fixed assets and safety gears over the Madhupur - Giridih and Madhupur Asansol section.
Shri Amar Prakash Dwivedi, General Manager, Eastern Railway also holds a review meeting with the Divisional Officers in presence of Divisional Railway Manager /Asansol.
