Press Release:VIGILANCE AWARENESS SEMINAR ORGANISED AT ZONAL RAILWAY TRAINING INSTITUTE (ZRTI), DHANBAD



Kolkata, 26 September 2023:

A vigilance seminar was organised at Multi - Disciplinary Zonal Railway Institute (ZRTI), Bhuli, Dhanbad today (26.09.2023) to spread vigilance awareness. This seminar has been organised by traffic wing of Eastern Railway. The seminar was attended by Trainees, Staff and Officers of ZRTI, Bhuli. Principal of Zonal Railway Training Institute (ZRTI), Bhuli was also present in the seminar.

In the vigilance seminar organised at ZRTI, Bhuli, different topics were discussed to enrich the knowledge of vigilance issues. These are:-

1)Related to Vigilance Organisation: (a) Role of vigilance, (b) Benefits of Participative Vigilance in day to day working in different spheres of railways, (c) Need of Preventive Vigilance.

2)CVC Referred Issues: (a) Awareness building o­n PIDPI resolution, (b) Role of IO/PO in conducting inquiry.

3)Miscellaneous items pertaining to workings of frontline staff of Railways where vigilance case often instituted against the staff due to ignorance of prevailing norms, instructions and rules.

It may be noted that vigilance awareness week will be observed by Eastern Railway from 30th October to 5th November, 2023 and this seminar was organised keeping in view of ensuing Vigilance Awareness Week.
