HUGE POPULARITY OF HOWRAH – NEW JALPAIGURI VANDE BHARAT EXPRESS


Kolkata, May 16, 2023:


Travel enthusiasts visiting Darjeeling – Himalayan region and Dooars area prefer Howrah – New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express to reach their destinations enjoying a package full of comfort o­n-board. 22301 UP Howrah – New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express has performed 76 trips during the three months period from February, 2023 to April, 2023 with 100% booking of seats. Similarly, 22302 DN New Jalpaiguri – Howrah Vande Bharat Express has also experienced 100% booking during the period from 01.02.2023 to 30.04.2023. Thus, the Vande Bharat Express has generated a passenger revenue of ₹ 25,61,97,036/- for the three months period from February, 2023 to April, 2023. 

Shri Kausik Mitra, Chief Public Relations Officer/Eastern Railway has said that, such huge response from the passengers for getting a chance to ride in Howrah – New Jalpaiguri – Howrah Vande Bharat Express is due to their preference for experiencing a high-speed journey with this indigenously built state-of-the-art ICF Coaches of Vande Bharat Express. Moreover, comfortable cushion, spacious accommodation and pallet table food o­n-board in this train also enrich the travel experience.
