For the sake of the convenience of the commuters, Railway has decided to run one pair special train between Bangaon and Lumding. The local people of Bangaon, Thakurnagar & surrounding areas will be immensely benefitted by availing the special train service, informed Shri Kausik Mitra, CPRO, Eastern Railway.
05604 Lumding - Bangaon Special will leave Lumding at 07:00 hrs. on 17.03.2023 (Friday)) to reach Bangaon at 12:40 hrs. on the next day and 05603 Bangaon – Lumding Special will leave Bangaon at 00:30 hrs. on 21.03.2023 (Tuesday) to reach Lumding at 04:15 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Thakurnagar, Kolkata, Dankuni, Barddhaman, Bolpur-Shantiniketan, Sainthia, Rampurhat, Pakur & Malda Town stations enroute in both directions over Eastern Railway jurisdiction.
