BASIC NEONATAL RESUSCITATION PROTOCOL TRAINING ORGANIZED
AT LILUAH RAILWAY HOSPITAL

In a step forward towards ensuring highest standards of medical treatment for Railway fraternity, Eastern Railway is providing updated training for doctors & paramedics so as to provide super specialty medicare to its serving employees as well as the new born babies of Railway beneficiaries.
As a part of that endeavour, Eastern Railway Hospital, Liluah recently organized a Basic Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol provider training programme under Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) and National Neonatology Forum (NNF) at Liluah Railway Hospital. Around 20 junior and senior doctors including paediatrician, gynaecologist, anaesthetist & nurses were imparted First Golden Minute (FGM) training.
The vision of this workshop was to provide guidance in decreasing new-born mortality & morbidity and to provide quality care to neonates and improve morbidity free survival. Dr. Indu Surana and Dr Shaon Mitra were present as instructors. Dr. Shilpi Siddhanta, DMO/Paediatrics and Health & Family Welfare department (H&FW), Liluah Hospital was also the instructor and co-ordinator of this programme. Shri Sumit Narula, Chief Works Manager/Liluah graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Dr. Subhankar Home, Chief Medical Superintendent/ Liluah, Dr. Sipra Biswas, Assistant Chief Medical Superintendent/ Liluah, Dr. Mou Mitra, Assistant Chief Medical Superintendent/ Liluah & nurses from Liluah Railway Hospital participated in this noble initiative. All the participant trainees were immensely benefitted from this quality training session.
