RPF/ER PROVIDES SECURITY TO THE PASSENGERS TIRELESSLY o­n 24X7 BASIS

Kolkata, September 08, 2021:

 

1)On 07.09.2021 Officers & staff of RPF Post / Sealdah apprehended a person red-handedly while pic pocket a passenger boarding/deboarding a staff special train at platform No. 5 of Sealdah Railway station and recovered o­ne mobile phone valued Rs. 8000/- from his possession. The person was handed over to the GRP/Sealdah for further legal action.

2)On 07.09.2021 acting o­n a reliable source, Officers & staff of RPF Post/ Tarakeswar with the assistance of Haripal PS arrested a tout from his shop and recovered seven e-tickets valued Rs. 12,365/-, six Railway old e-tickets valued Rs. 10,131/- and other incriminating articles from his possession.

3)On 07.09.2021 train escort party of RPF Post/Madhupur of Train No. 02024 Howrah-Jansatabdi special rescued a teenage girl while she was foundtravelling alone in the train. o­n interrogation it could be learnt that she fled her home with her boyfriend. She was secured at RPF West Post/Asansol at Asansol Railway station. The matter was informed to her father and subsequently she was handed over tochild line, Asansol under proper documentation.

4)On 07.09.2021 RPF North Post/Howrah rescued a teenage boy while he was found moving aimlessly at Howrah Railway station, Old Complex. o­n interrogation it could be learnt the he lefthome and mistakenly came to Howrah Railway station by any train and forgot the way back to home. Subsequently he was handed over to Don Bosco Asylum, child line under proper documentation.
