GENERAL MANAGER'S ANNUAL INSPECTION HELD IN KHANA-ASANSOL SECTION OF 
ASANSOL DIVISION TODAY.

Kolkata, February 26, 2021:

Shri Manoj Joshi, General Manager/Eastern Railway conducted Annual Inspection in Khana-Asansol Section of Eastern Railway’s Asansol Division today (26.2.2021). He inspected different railway establishments, interacted with the Gangmen & other field staff of the railway and also inspected bridge between Nimcha-Kalipahari under Asansol Division.

Shri Joshi conducted speed trial between Khana & Panagarh, interacted with trackmen at Panagarh, inaugurated newly constructed Permanent Way Office at Panagarh, visited railway colony and Health Unit and also inaugurated renovated Panagarh Health Unit. He visited Divisional Permanent Way Institute at Panagarh, inaugurated newly constructed switch room with 650 wp solar system at Panagarh, planted saplings and visited level crossing gate No. 106 Special.

At Durgapur, he inaugurated rest room for the lady Railway staff and lady RPF barrack. 

He inaugurated e-techno Park at Andal, visited e-library, Smart Yard Administrative Building and crew lobby.

At Raniganj, GM inspected various passenger amenities and interacted with the members of Chamber of Commerce.

He inspected bridge No. 509 between Nimcha & Kalipahari. At Asansol, he flagged off Accident Relief Road Vehicle, interacted with the members of Chamber of Commerce, inaugurated Ecological Park and Golf Club at Domohoni railway colony, Asansol.

Everywhere he interacted with railway staff and field workers and instructed them in different direction for further improvement of their performance.
