Job Profile:  All the activities of Personnel Department are supervised by Senior Divisional Personnel Officer who is assisted by a Divisional Personnel Officer and three Assistant Personnel Officers and a Law Officer. The personnel department of Asansol Division deals with appointment from various sources, establishment and Pay Bill work of staff of all departments. Senior Divisional Personnel Officer is solely responsible for maintaining Industrial Relations with the recognized unions and Associations. All the welfare activities are also monitored by Senior Divisional Personnel Officer. He personally monitors all the grievances received directly from the complainant or through online portal or referred by Head Quarter/Board/Member of Parliaments/Members of Legislative Assembly.

5.  Compassionate Appointment Cases :   87  number of Compassionate appointment cases have been finalized during the period from 01.01.15 to 31.12.15

6.   Restructuring of certain Gr. C cadres:-

Restructuring has been successfully implemented in all departments. A total of 1821 staff have been benefited under this scheme.

       

           Restructuring of Track Maintainer has been successfully implemented. A total of 1362 staff have been benefited under this scheme.

12. Right to information:-

On Asansol division, RTI cell is working smoothly, 431 nos of RTI cases have been received from 01.01.2015 to 31.12.15 . All cases are being disposed off in time.

13. Monitoring of Grievance.

Sr.DPO, DPO & APOs attend the grievance redressel camps and  inspect different working units of the division. The grievances as received are disposed off immediately. This has resulted in highest level of satisfaction amongst the staff and it has also saved the need for them to come to the DRM’s office

Innovation including special achievement

1.  MONTHLY PENSION GRIEVANCE CAMP

            On 20th of every month (or next working day when 20th is holiday)  a Pension Grievance Camp to settle the grievances is being organized . It has an effect in the reduction of grievances received during the Annual Pension Adalat.

2.  Jeevan Pramaan

            Registration of Aadhaar based Digital life certificate for Pensioners has been started in this Division.  1875 numbers of Pensioners have enrolled their name till date. The programme has been organized from 5.10.15 to 9.10.15 at DivisionalRly Hospital/Asansol, from 12.10.15 to 16.10.15 at Andal Rly Hospital and there after till 31.1.16 at Settlement section /DRM office/ASN

3 .  Birth day Greetings from MR

            The system of conveying Birthday Greetings from  Hon’ble MR to all employees has already been started from 1stJuly’15 in Asansol Division.

4.  Aadhaar .  05 stations have been nominated for holding camp for Aadhaar registration. Aadhaar registration at Creche centre at DRM office/ASN has been started w.e.f 14.1.16. Railway employees, Pensioners and their family members are enrolling their name. 316nos  have enrolled their name till date. Further camps at UDL, DGR, MDP and JSME will be arranged in the 1stand 2nd week of February/2016.

5. Computer based learning has been introduced at Andal High School from 04.01.2016. Different subjects are being presented to the students in a more interesting way through computer and projector.

6. Cleanliness Drive:- As part of Swachha Bharat Abhijan, Nukkar natak and awareness programme were under taken at different stations. At the Rly School level painting and quiz competitions were arranged. Cleanliness drive was also taken at the office premises also.

7. Family Assistance: An amount of Rs.2 lakhs has been disbursed amongst the families of the employees who are suffering from different diseases and are on LWP.

8. Educational Assistance: Rs.42,78,000/- has been disbursed to the wards of the employees as educational assistance.
