Job Profile:  All the activities of Personnel Department are supervised by Senior Divisional Personnel Officer who is assisted by a Divisional Personnel Officer and three Assistant Personnel Officers and a Law Officer. The personnel department of Asansol Division deals with appointment from various sources, establishment and Pay Bill work of staff of all departments. Senior Divisional Personnel Officer is solely responsible for maintaining Industrial Relations with the recognized unions and Associations. All the welfare activities are also monitored by Senior Divisional Personnel Officer. He personally monitors all the grievances received directly from the complainant or through online portal or referred by Head Quarter/Board/Member of Parliaments/Members of Legislative Assembly.

3.10Right to information:-

On Asansol division, RTI cell is working smoothly,112 nos of RTI cases have been received from 01.04.2017 to 1.10.17. All cases are being disposed off in time.

3.11     Monitoring of Grievance.

Sr.DPO, DPO & APOs attend the grievance redressel camps and inspect different working units of the division. The grievances as received are disposed off immediately. This has resulted in highest level of satisfaction amongst the staff and it has also saved the need for them to come to the DRM’s office

3.12. NIVARAN:- NIVARAN has been introduced in the Division. Grievances are being disposed off in time. Total 69 cases have been disposed off up to Sept-17

4.0 INNOVATION/SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS/GOOD WORK DONE

4.1   TRAINING CUM KNOWLEDGE SHARING PROGRAMME:

All the Departments in Asansol Division are taking active interest in providing a platform to staff for enhancing their knowledge and upgrading their skills. Training Sessions/Seminars are being organized by Departments in different Units/locations which are being actively participated by the staff and are producing fruitful results.

Personnel department is organizing “Training cum knowledge sharing programme” on every Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM in which the Ministerial staff across all Departments are imparted basic knowledge as well as updated circulars in connection with a particular topic. The first such training was held on 16.6.17 at new conference Room/DRM Building. Till date, 14 such training sessions have been organized. Staff are attending the training in large scale with full enthusiasm for refreshing and updating their knowledge.

4.2STAFF WELFARE CAMPS:

As a welfare Department, mitigating the grievance of the staff is the top most priority of Personnel Department.  Staff Welfare Camps are being organised at major Units. Apart from redress of grievance, staff are being informed about various welfare activities, service benefits. Service Records are being shown. Drives are also being undertaken for enrolment in Railway Institutes and cultural activities. Till date, 8 Staff Welfare Camps have been organized every Wednesday since 07.06.2017, in which a total of 765 grievances have been collected and 202 grievances have been disposed off. Disposal of the grievances are being communicated to the respective staff. Also 1539 numbers of staff have been shown their Service Records during this period

4.3.  COLONY INSPECTION GROUPS (CIGs)

                        Colony Inspection groups have been formed by DRM/ASN constituting the Officers of different Departments and the Groups are inspecting the nominated colonies on every Saturday and submitting their reports. Till now, 8 inspections have been conducted by the CIG team, collecting 120  number of quarter related grievances. The problems as being faced by the residents are reported to the respective Departmental Officers for rectification and necessary compliance reports are also being regularly called for. There has been an increased sense of satisfaction and confidence among the residents of colonies by this regular visit of CIGs.

4.4.  STAR OF THE MONTH (SOTM)

For recognition and acknowledgement of the good work done by the staff at field level and to boost up their morale and also to motivate their co-workers, one staff of each Department is being awarded with a certificate of merit and a cash award of Rs.500/- by DRM on the last Monday of every month during punctuality cum safety meeting.

4.5Gandhi Jayanti

Gandhi Jayanti  on 2nd October was celebrated in Asansol Division, where Nukkad Natak  was staged by Scouts & Guide Team of Hospital group & Traffic Group at all major Stations of Asansol Division i.e ASN, DGR and MDP. DRM/ASN,ADRM/ASN including all Branch officers with their subordinate  officers and other staff  were present. Swachhata pledge was also taken at Asansol by DRM/ASN and in other field units by the respective unit  in charges. Swachhata drive was also organized at major working points throughout the Division.

4.6       Aadhaar . 

Aadhaar registration camps were arranged in different major station. Total 4192 nos Enrollments for new Aadhaar cards have been done.. Aadhaar number of 14165 staff have been registered in the IPAS system
