PERFORMER OF THE MONTH OF JULY 2016

                                      

       Sri Vidhu Bhusan Sharma, Inspector/Kolkata(T)/Post of Sealdah Division, has been  declared as "MAN OF THE MONTH FOR THE MONTH OF JULY 2016" for his dedication and prompt reaction thaton23-07-16 during preventive drive organized under his supervision. One male person was found moving suspiciously at PF No- 2/3 towards Tala Railway Station end of Kolkata Railway Station. On beingenquiredthe said person surrendered himself as well as disclosed his identity as ROKY SK (nick name- Rakim) aged 26 years, S/o TalebSk, andresiding at village namelyImam Jagir Moujampur, PS- Kaliachak, Dist- Malda. After being maintained all legal formalities and personal search, one black colour School bag containing 04 nos. balls seems to be CHARAS wrapped with black plastic with carbon paper & tape weighting 1kg each i.e. total 04 kg and also cash amounting Rs 530/-was recovered from his possession. The value of the recovered items have been assessed to Rs 20, 00,000/- (Twenty Lacks) approx.

               Accordingly, the person was arrested and a case was registered by DDJ/GRPS vide no- 32/16 dt.23/07/16 U/S- 20(ii) (C) NDPS act. He has been rewarded Rs. 2,000/- by Addl. CSC/Eastern Railway.

On 16.06.16, while train No-37852 (Burdwan-Howrah Chord Local ) stopped at Janai Road station, one snatcher tried to snatch away one bag from one  bonafide lady passenger namely Piu Mondal (32) w/o -Tamal Kanti Ghosh of Dankuni Housing, P.S-Dankuni but on duty RPF at Janai Road station namely Constable/Nil- A.T.Sk of RPF Post/Dankuni at Janai Road apprehended the snatcher namely Sanjay Malick (M-24) residing in a unauthorized thatch in Sheoraphuli Railway area along with the snatched bag contg ATM Card, Voter Card  & cash Rs-1360/-. The apprehended person along with the recovered bag, seizure list with the written complaint of the said lady has been handed over to GRP/Kamarkundu  for which case No-18/16, dtd-17.06.16 u/s-379/411 IPC has been registered there. He has been rewarded Rs. 5,000/- by IG-cum-CSC/RPF/Eastern Railway.
